Senior/Master Technicians

£41,000 BASIC PAY

McMillan Specialist Cars are recruiting for Senior/Master Technicians to join our already experienced team. 

While working alongside experienced technicians, you will play a vital role supporting all technicians and apprentices, as well as carrying out specific mechanical and electrical diagnostics.

You will be given ongoing support to further your career skills within our business to make you the very best you can be.

You will also receive accredited training in hybrid and electric vehicles to ensure we are at the cutting edge of vehicle technology.

Responsibilities 

• Supporting and providing guidance for junior technicians and apprentices within the workshop.
• Carrying out mechanical and electrical diagnosis using prescribed guidelines.
• Assisting with complicated diagnostics on vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical diagnosis of issues, using computer-
• based technology.
• Advising the customer-facing team of any further work required.
• Ensuring all work has been completed to the standard.

Qualifications 

The ideal candidate to be considered for this role will need to be an Accredited Master Technician with NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have significant motor industry experience, and have a full and valid UK driving licence. You’ll be self-motivated whilst being able to support your team, ambitious and diligent in your approach, and able to work to and maintain the highest of standards on all vehicles.
